12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
1/2 cup water
Zest of one orange

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Cook the Cranberries
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and water.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries start to burst and the sauce begins to thicken.
