Some treats capture the spirit of the holidays in a single, glistening bite. Maple Pecan Brittle Cups are one of those treasures sweet, toasty, and beautifully simple. Each cup holds a golden layer of maple caramel and crisp pecans wrapped in smooth chocolate. They’re easy to make, share, and gift a modern twist on old-fashioned brittle with an elegant touch that melts right into your winter traditions.
Affirmation: “I welcome warmth and sweetness into every season of my life.”

Ingredients
(makes about 18–24 mini cups)
- 1 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- 8 ounces semi-sweet or milk chocolate, melted
- Optional: flaky salt or edible gold dust for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Cups: - Line a mini muffin pan with paper liners or use silicone molds. Set aside.
- Make the Maple Pecan Brittle Base: - In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and butter. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until butter melts. - Continue to cook for 5–6 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly and reaches a light caramel color.
- Add Flavor: - Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, salt, and chopped pecans. The mixture will thicken as it cools slightly.
- Assemble the Cups: - Spoon a teaspoon of melted chocolate into each cup and swirl to coat the bottom. - Chill for 5 minutes, then add a small spoonful of the maple pecan brittle mixture on top. - Finish with another layer of melted chocolate to seal.
- Set & Finish: - Chill until firm (about 30 minutes). Sprinkle lightly with flaky salt or dust with edible gold for a festive glow.
